Hi all

At the moment I have an apartment in Thailand, it is not standard practice to install wiring for ground here, it is what it is and I can't change it, most of my stuff is double insulated so presents no problem, however I would really like to ground my computer, without banging a rod into the ground are there any other options?

Yes there are, but banging in a spike is going to be your easiest and cheapest. Balls, you can put it anywhere and you don't need the labelling etc - lets be honest Thailand is more-or-less lawless - just get a spike and make sure its safe and protected.

OR you could protest for the country to get a decent TN-C-S system. I will happily come out there to help you with your cause. For bed and board of course....... 6 weeks out of the year would do......
