earth bonding bathroom

hi
what are the current regs on bonding a bathroom? i used to be a electrician and we used to run a 6mm cable into the bathroom and cross bond everything then connect the 6mm to the earth in the consumer unit. this is what i have done in my bathroom but i have read that i should of connected the earth to the lighting circuit.(this is the only circuit in the bathroom and is low voltage) do i now need to disconect in the consumer unit and reconect to the lighting circuit?

all earth terminals of electrical accessories and metallic pipes in zones 1 2 and 3 should be connected together as your light is a low voltage (selv)type it shouldnt be connected in anyway to the earth terminal but if you were to fit a class 1 light fitting then it would need to be connected with the supplementry equipotential bonding. From january 2008 17th edition is to be introduced which does away with supplementry equipotential bonding and all circuits in the zones will be RCD protected
