Hie guys recently i tried to put a three phase rcd on my manager s house which does not have one.as soon as i try to switch it on it trips out. does any of you think of any problem that can cause this and the quickest way to find where the problem is .guys you can e mail me on achirimubwe@yahoo.com or alois.chirimubwe@riotinto.com

why are you putting a 3 phase on to the house , whart is it feeding .

Ok so your manager has a 3P supply coming into his house......what was in the DB before??? a simple main switch??? what rating is the RCD??? 30mA 100mA etc.

Have you done any IR testing to check for any faults before you fitted the RCD???
