Converting old Railway stop/go light

Hi i am making a lamp from an old railway stop/go light i recently found, i have striped the guts out as they looked rusty and gone i was originally planning on mounting 3 new bulb holders in it and running straight from a 240v mains .. however the bulb holders in it are sound and i like the 3 pin bulbs already in it as they are 8000 hours use and look fine ... the bulb says 12v 24w so i'm assuming i need to put a voltage transformer in but my questions are can i just use the one to run all 3 bulbs or not ?? can i daisy chain the power please see pics .. and do these bulbs still exist and are they easy to get .... please check the photos and any advice welcome many thanks Dan ...
