Is my 1992 16 edition still valid

Ive been working in new zealand for a few years now but have returned a couple of times (1 year each time) and worked as an electrician in factorys I have a 1992 16 edition plus did my apprentiship with the EEB. finishing in the early seventies I also have a city and guilds electrical installation.I have quite a few years as a sparky before coming to NZ.Does any of you kind souls know if my 16th edition is still valid,or what would i need to update,or even if I could still even work with my qualificationsin the uk,Thanks for any advice.

You should ideally sit the 17th edition course if you intend coming back to the uk to work.

Thanks for the reply ohmslaw but by that do u just mean the 2382.10 and is there anything legally stopping me working once I have that ,thanks in anticipation
