I am 45 years old and hold my 17th and my 2391 test & inspection and 2377 pat. I have been practicing electrical work for around 23 years on mainly 415v systems including motors, starters and so on. I have worked with galv, pyro, and every other imaginable type of installation there is mainly in the light industrial & commercial field, however I do not have any kind of formal qualification as an electrician eg 2330 2360. Is there some kind of a coarse that I can do to give me the appropriate qualifications as I would like to apply for JIB registration as I now need to prove what I can do as the people that I do my work for now require that to be the case.

Kind Regards

Hey ICE.

I would say as a minimum you owuld need to complete your NVQ3 this with perhaps a letter of reccomendation from your employer may get you a g o l d card, but there again may not. I do believe you are able to complete the 2330 L3 in 6 weeks with some training establishments, this will also help you in your quest.
