Can anyone help me please with some information on the 17th edition regs course. I am a qualified electrician looking to travel to work in London and I have been told I need to have my 17th edition course done. How much is this course to do and also how much does an electrician earn p/h with a company on average.

Hi Mate im also looking to move to london I did the 17th edition last year and it was around £250, my problem is that most jobs are asking for 2391 testing and ispection. looking into it now

yes you would definattely need 2391 testing and ispection. The 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations is a long overdue update on the 16th Edition Wiring Regulations. All domestic and industrial electrical installations and wiring must conform to these regulations. It would cost you around √ 250 - 350.
