Hello,

I'm 36 years old and recently undertook a significant career change, predominantly since my last role didn't fit well with my young family. At the end of July, I completed Level 3 City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition, 2377 PAT Testing and 2393 Building Regs along with Full Scope Part P. I have been doing some minor work on my own and have worked for others for free but obviously, I need to earn a modest income sooner rather than later (not least as I need to buy a SDS drill - any recommendations for this major purchase which I need to be as versatile as possible). Am desperate to continue to gain experience with whoever will have me along at a relatively low day rate at your convenience. I have my own tools and test equipment. Of course, I understand fully that, especially in the current difficult economic climate, additional paid labour, regardless of whether on a piecework or day rate, may be out of the question. At this stage, I would be appreciative of any opportunity to gain experience or any advice on offer.

Many thanks,
Mark (Struttski)

PS. The substance of this message is largely a repeat of an earlier post, which I'd be happy to delete if anyone can advise me on how. I don't seem to have the appropriate level of access to do this and can only edit my previous post.
