I think this could interest some of you.
When fitting ceiling or wall lights which use Halogen Lamps and a dimmer switch is required,a normal dimmer swich must not be used.
You must use a Intelligent dimmer a switch.

Otherwise damage to normal dimmer switch and lamps will occur.

Ive found that although very pricey, Edge intelligent dimmer switches are superb for halogen lights
