I guess this would be the best place I can get myself out there in my search for work as an electricians mate or electical improver etc.
I was made redundant in april, and through a scheme run by the Welsh Assembly I have completed my 17th edition, CSCS and Part P qualifications. I also took the 2391 course and passed the practical but failed the written exam. I have a retest on 1st of December.
I also already have my city and guilds 2330 levels 1 2 and 3 and my PAT testing certificate.
The React scheme I am on will give to any prospective employer taking me on for 12 months or over, up to £3000 towards paying me and up to £1000 towards any job-related training I might need.
I already have some electrical experience with two of my last three jobs being a kitchen and bathroom fitters mate and a PAT test engineer and also wiring I have done for family and friends.
I am reliable, willing and hard working and I can also take orders and work happily and safely on my own, or as part of a team.
I would consider taking a reduced wage rate because I get child and working tax credits which will top up my earnings.
I have a full driving license and my own car and would consider travelling, overnight stays and working longer hours.
I am just looking for someone to give me that chance to get my foot on the ladder. So all in all I would appreciate any thing I can get.
Regards
