hey, new member,,,,,,,can anyone see a problem with me re-wiring a house using 3 core flex,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,reason being i just finished an exhibition and it seems a waste not to reuse it?, i cant find any answers in the regs,,,,,,,,,,,,thanxs in advance ,,,,,,,,,,,,,alan

I can only think of the flex not being "basec" approved.
Did you use the flex?
As for finding an answer in the Regs, good luck. It probably says you can then in another section say you cant and then says if the moon is blue then why not!!!!!!! :lol:

Probably not. Flexible cables should only be used for portable appliances If they are used for fixed wiring they should be visible throughout there entire length. See iee 17th ed. (521.9)
