Soket and Sink

Hi all just wondered if anyone can tell me how far a kitchen socket must be from a sink.

BS 7671 states that there is no specified distance for a socket from a sink however it does state that the socket must be sufficiently IP rated for the position its installed in. Regards Jimbo
