Hi Guys

Hope someone here can help.

I purchased this item from eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0291722029 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=160291722029)

It comes with a 2 pin US charger. So I went to eBay again and bought this adapter:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0258680434 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=130258680434)

Will I need a power converter so I don't fry my charger? if so, any recommendations?

Thanks

Tinman

Be very very careful, from memory the States are 110V sooooo your charger will burn out/ catch fire/ or pop. Check incoming voltage marked on charger I think you will find you will need a transformer. Regards Jimbo

Before you buy more kit check the spec on the the charger. Most are switch mode and designed to accommodate a wide range of input voltages.
My phone charger, for example, is 100-240V and the laptop PSU is similar.
