With the 17th edition 'looming' it could be a good time for anyone who hasn't got their 2381 to book in fro the exam? Apparentlylots of the exam centres are quiet at the moment because everyone is waiting for the new 17th edition 2381 exam, but if you get your 2381 now, i think it's only a simple update to the new 17th edition and there'll be no panic to get it as you'll already have your 2381 qualification. If you put it off you may have trouble getting a place to sit your 17th edition 2381 as the exam centres are expected to be massively overbooked!
Thought it's worth a mention.

A very good suggestion. I understand that their will be 1 day update courses for those people with an existing 2381.

And because the exam is open book and the main structure of the regs has changed very little I foresee no problem in doing the update.

So if anyone knows of cheap 2381 course in kent please let me know!!

!7th done and dusted, quite a few changes and as for the "update" mentioned above only if you have taken the 2381 in the last 4 years ( pretty sure they said 4 years) so that would have to be the 2382 anyway. Will make your head ache a bit but as I said not to bad. Regards Jimbo

Hi
My 2381 has just been cancelled for next week by OLCI from what they have said this was there fault and they have offered me the 17th Edition for the same price as the 16th.

Regards.
