Hi,

I wonder if someone cam tell me whether I need to get the appliances checked on my holiday property before I start renting it out??

Is it law that I should do this? They are all new as in kettle, iron etc with standard plugs.

all rental properties have to have a elctrical cert. but all new electrical items come under manufactures garuntee
But: it could be in your own interest to have them tested to cover the gray areas of the law all my renteds are covered in this way.
your electrician should do an inclusive price.
