Working from the ring, I need to run an unfused spur and then a Fused spur off this to run two 13a appliances.
This is okay, right.
I'm just checking the OSG appenix 8 8.2.4, but doesn't make it totally clear.
Thanks

I would say no. You are not allowed more than 1 spur from a socket outlet.
I checked my Elecīs site guide and would say you are alright if you use all fused spurs as there is "no limit" to these. It is a bit ambiguos and i would take in to account what type of appliance you have on them.

Thank shoppo1,
Don't know what I was thinking..
I'll just run a double socket spur.. no need to fuse any thing,

Cheers

Hi
Yes it is true you can run a double socket from a spur but have you taken into account the current rating of both devices when on at same time. 2.5 FTE current rating is 27 amps when in free space when in a cavity wall this will reduce to 17.5 amps from bs7671 table 4D2A page 276. Be careful
