which cable would you lads use when you need to link 2 pir lights together so either will trigger the other at the same time. it will be clipped direct to the outside of the house, il need 3 core and earth so i can link the switched lives, swa is too big, and can only get 3 core arctic.Thanks

Any surface cables must also be mechanically protected. Arctic is fine

Try armaflex or flexishield.
by the way you can use flexishield for switch drops for lighting,then no need for RCD protection.
