merlin gerin contactor problem

Hi,
i have been asked to replace a merlin gerin ct ie 63amp 400v contactor
within a board which controls a few tv type screens with a small shop,

i replaced the contactor and have the in coming power to it,
but it will not contact and send the power on

i have checked all the screws and they are sound
i must be missing something any help would be great

Hi there.

How is the contactor controlled?? is it a timeclock?? have you connected the A and A1 coil terminals correctly??
