Types of 6mm cable

Hello I am replacing a free standing cooker cable and have 1.5 metres of
6mm cable. The cores are not the usual copper strand but solid light alloy colour. What is cable please and is it fit for the job? I would appreciate some advice, thank you.:?:

Its probably aluminium and unsuitable.
Buy the copper cable - you can get it by the metre at most DIY stores and it is not very expensive.
