View Full Version : Consumer Units in flats with 2 electrical feeds

Hi, I have been asked by a customer to replace his fuse box with a consumer unit.
I went to see the flat where he lives and he has 2 fuse boxes for his flat, it seems that it is fed by 2 separate electric feeds (on different tariffs?).

Does this mean that I need to fit two separate consumer units ? :?:

Any advice gratefully received !

Hi.

It sounds like you have economy 7 (night storage) heaters installed there aswell as the main 24hr power and lighting.

Dual tariff boards are available I believe crabtree make such a beast, failing that 2 seperate consumer units it is.
