Outside lights

Hi All,

Im gonna be installing two outside lights in my car port. Its gonna be connected to a new cb, Im using 1.5 swa as the cable will be within arms reach and outside. But im wanting to have a switch inside for maintenance and a bit unsure how i can configure the cables.

Am I able to use twin and earth through a switch inside, then out directly to a suitably IP rated junction box, then the swa from there up to the lights?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

No problems with that, as long as Ib In Iz satisfies your smallest cable then thats fine
