Hi again, this is my second problem, thank you for your patience so far.I have an old Farfisa organ in the house which was hardly ever used, but in excellent condition, one night a guest at my house was having a shot at it when it just stopped working,so i unplugged it and forgot about it.A few months later someone else wanted a shot of it,so i plugged it in(i put the plug into a 3 socket bar extension socket that was already switched on at the wall if this has anything to do with it)and as i pushed the plug into the socket there was an almighty bang and a bit of a flash too if i remember and then a kind of smokey smell,i got a real fright.I just want to get rid of the organ now as i never played it anyway, and i know someone who wants it,however i don't want to give him it if it's frigged,or more importantly,if it's unsafe.I don't know if it was the organ itself or the plug that blew up,i've bought a new plug for it but am a a bit scared to try it,do you think it's possible it could blow up again or if something has a fault(if it was the organ)it'll just be 'dead' now if i plug it in.Also would it be a wise move to use a powerbreaker too? Thanks a lot,Elias.
