Faulty transformer/spotlight?
I have 16 ceiling spotlights (20 w) in my and lounge on one dimmer. Each spot has its own transformer. One of the spots keeps failing I keep having to replace the transformer. Before the spot fails the light pulsates on/off about once every second. What's going on? What do I need to do?
I'm a complete amature when it comes to all thing electrical. Any advice welcome.
Cheers
Dom.

Re: Faulty transformer/spotlight?
I would love to know the answer to this one too. Must be many, many people with the same challenge. Knowing how to do your own thing could be brilliant.
all the best

Re: Faulty transformer/spotlight?
sounds like the transformer is n't rated for the lamp used
or the transformer is sitting to close to the lamp in the ceiling

it is getting too hot triping the thermal cut out then comming back on when it cools down. make sure it has plenty of air circulating around it.
