Default Genuine City and Guilds Centres?

Recently i have nearly paid £500 for a 2391 course. Does everyone know that there is alot of scandal going on where some companies are not registered with city and Guilds and offering courses?
So i advise before recruiting on any course with any college etc please check with C & G to see that the place you are going to pay hard earned money is a genuine centre and not some ripp off place!
    good luck guys.
There should be a name and shame site to safeguard students interests!

    Hello Sanjlon,

There's a lot of rip-off places out there who charge hundreds or even over a thousand pounds for courses and some of them ARE genuine City and Guilds centres !

Remember, you don't have to sit through weeks of courses to get a qalification. I purchesed some info online and flew my 2381. I sat the exam at a genuine C & G centre but didn't pay more than 30 quid for my course material. So why should I pay £300 or more to a GENUINE City and Guilds centre when I can get the same information and pass the exam for less than 30 quid?

By they way there were 6 of us in the exam and the other 5 had spent the week at the genuine C & G centre and paid almost £500 for the course. Guess who had the highest mark out of the 6 of us? Yes, me who spent £30 for a course!

Where did you buy the course for £30 conductor? I've seen lots advertised but they're cheaper and I want a good one.

    Thanks Aaron
