    Default writing my own certificates

    hi, i have just finished a job round my friends he had an extension done this is done under building regs i have my 2391 inspection and testing can i sign my own work off?

    You can compile your own certificates complying with the requirements shown in the regs, or copy those from BS7671 but you may not use any certificate implying membership of an accredited body like ECA, NAPIT, NIC, etc..
