Electric Towel Warmers / Radiator Question - Earth Bonding Q

Hi Guys,

first post to please be gentle!!


I have been asked about supplemental Earth bonding - in particular the requirement of the following:


1. Chromed-plated curved rad (I believe that it's a Bathstore.com Rad)
2. No Flow / Return Valves, just an electric element

Am I right in thinking that as the electric element is earthed, there would be no need for supplemental bonding?

Going to be gentle as its your first post, do not confuse earthing and bonding. Under the present regulations the unit must be bonded. Regards Jimbo
