Default Please help, need urgent help!

    My husband has 236 part 1 & 236 part 2. Also AM part 1 & part 2.
    17th Edition 2382-10 (full)

he hasn't worked as an electrician for 20 yrs, however, has been creeping back into helping friends.

What else does my husband exactly need to go round peoples houses on his own doing jobs and signing off his own work (if this is what he has to do?)

    Thanks very much in advance

He'll need to get Part P registered, either as a domestic installer or a fully approved contractor. NIC EIC is probably the best way, www.niceic.org.uk .

He can go and do the work but you'd have inform building control and get them to pass the jobs off as pretty much any work in a domestic environment needs to be certified , which can be quite costly so if he's got a decent amount of work it'd probably be best to get registered with a company such as the NIC so he can certify his own work.

    Hope this helps.
