Newbie
hello guys...
I've just finished my Computer Science degree in University and throughout the whole time I discovered I don't really want to pursue it as a career. However I completed it merely for my family's sake so that they can say they've got a graduate in the family (as I'm sure many might understand.)
I did a lot of thinking throughout my final year about doing something more practical and found myself coming towards electrician. Because working with computers, I found it to be a lot more exciting when playing with the hardware, wiring it up and generally understanding the electrical side of the computer rather than the software side.
This has lead me to wanting to understand more and develop and possibly develop a career in this field.
If anyone could give some tips/advice as to how I could go about this matter it would be much appreciated. Or if this question has occurred before, a link to the topic would be very helpful.
Thank you in advance and I look forward to hearing from you guys.
