Avoiding use of sharp knifes?
What tools are there that can replace the use of a sharp knife when stripping the insulation off cables?
The one that springs to mind is the Jokari tool, but what do you think of this?
Any others available?

Be carefull with the Jokari type tools, very easy to slice the core insulation when slicing the sheath.
You can get some automatic strippers that will work on both outer sheath and core insulation.

Re: Avoiding use of sharp knifes?
For twin and earth cables I use side cutters to split the outer insulation, grip the CPC and rip the sheath then chop off the excess. For the inner, I use Channellock wire strippers and pay about £15 a set for them.
For flex cables I use a CK automatic stripper. Funky but as a lefty I have to work it upside down.
