joining the brotherhood
Hi folks,
Well I have been working as a electrician, with a mate of mine in South Wales. Well I took an interest, in what he did, then he taught me the ropes of domestic installing.
He became ill, not soill he couldn't come to work, just that he couldn't climb ladders, etc. So I did most of the work, and got it signed off on his ticket.
Now for personel reasons, my partner and I have moved to Lancs. I attained my Part "P", when we have a bit more money, will be taking my 17th (updated) course next year. This was recomended, by my course tutor.
Now comes my question, accredatation, which one? One of my course tutors said that where I live, the local Council, use Napit. Which one should I approach?
ANy recomendations as to how to get started.

Re: joining the brotherhood
Good luck with it, you dont have to register straight away. Limit what works you are doing and get the council or another spark to sign your work of for now.
I also chose nic because its better known, insurance companies tend to quote NIC over napit etc. I think they are all much the same tbh.
Would have been better spending the money on the 17th edition course than the part p one.
PS Not a brotherhood anymore, sisters are joining too.
