    Default Halogen fittings

Hey, any ideas why 3 halogen 500w may fail quickly, one with in minutes of installing, 2 off skt circuit and one off lighting circuit???? Thanks.

usually because the lamps supplied are really cheap and nasty to keep costs down!! i usually throw them straight in the bin and install a decent brand lamp. also your not supposed to handle the bulb. i doubt its a problem with the electrical installation.

Thanks, might try energy saver replacement lamps instead.

To achieve a more even distribution of light a central light is ideal or even a multi headed halogen spotlight can achieve this. Another idea would be halogen downlighters either used on their own or in conjunction with a central light.
