Re: led strip lighting
I want to light 4 areas of my kitchen but would like to control all the areas from the one remote. I have power to the four areas via a light switch as I'd allowed for alternative lighting previously. I have since found that radio wave controllers can do this but not sure about infrared.

Re: led strip lighting
It depends on how long of each rgb 5050 strip lighting you are using and the power consumptions of them. usually, one reel rgb 5050 LED strip lighting is 16.4 ft long, and 72 Watt (if it contains 300 pcs smd5050 LEDs), or 36 Watt (contains 150 pcs smd 5050 LEDs). if you used 4 reels of 72 watt rgb 5050 strip lighting, one ir remote is enough.
BTW, the remote is compatible to 4x seperate ir recievers, you don't worry about that.
