2391 exam candidates performance (chief examiner's report)
Hi everyone,
I am thinking of studying for my 2392 Inspection and Testing Exam shortly, to be followed by my 2391 very soon after that: I have one point of concern which is bothering me slightly (about these exams) and I am hoping that someone here on this forum might be able to enlighten me - because I can't find any helpful information or references about this one particular point I have in question anywhere online at all:
Here is a sentence quoted from the CHIEF EXAMINER'S REPORT (in respect of) 2391 EXAM CANDIDATES PERFORMANCE (from June/July of 2011):
' Candidates appear to be confusing the term Line with the term Live which results in marks being lost due to incorrect descriptions and statements'
Can anybody here please enlighten me (and anyone else here who this may be of concern or interest to) as to just exactly what is meant by these two particular terms of Line and Live as they are meant to be applied in relation to the above quoted sentence
when it comes to taking these exams?
In other words, can any of you kind and helpful experienced electricians please give us a clear and understandable explanation of this?
