adding a switched spur to existing wiring
I have recently fitted a whirpool bath which requires the wiring to be connected to a switched spur. Not wanting to run new cables all the way back to the consumer unit I was hoping that I would be able to utilise an old power feed that used to supply my water heater. The cables that I have inside of a JB which was the old supply to the heater are Live Neutral and Earth. Would this supply be OK to use as a switched spur or would it be better to do use the wiring that is supplying the electric sockets in the adjacent bedroom. FYI the old heater supply cables with JB attached is also in the adjacent room.

Re: adding a switched spur to existing wiring
You could use either.
Remember though, that 30mA RCD protection will be required for whichever circuit you opt for.
