3 phase question!!
Hi
I've recently come across a situation I've not encountered before and was wondering if any anyone can shed some light...
Recently inspected a pub supply arrangement, is a 3 phase 4 wire tncs system, into 100A 1361 fuses, simple enough...out of bottom of fuse for L1 goes to a single phase meter supplying 2 consumer units....
There are another set of tails coming out of L1, L2 and L3 1361s this time going to a 3 phase meter....L3 feeds another consumer unit the other 2 phases are redundant originally supplying off peak boards that have no load.
Totally unbalanced I know, has anyone come across this before? The 3 phase meter was installed on 2009 and the single phase one last year? Although it's a 3 phase supply, technically it's going through 2 meters so couldn't this double the energy costs for the user?? Any ideas gratefully received!!
