Electric Hob
I need to fit one in place of an original. Whats the crack with them? Do I disconnect the old one from the spur pull out and put new one in with some sealant? Never done one? Thanks

Re: Electric Hob
not quite as simple as that. you need to check the cable that is installed currently is the correct size for the rating of your new hob.
If so then yep connect your new one, you will probably have to enlarge the hole in the work top as they very rarely fit the existing one!
then test and issue minor works you may have to notify it as it is in a kitchen too!

Re: Electric Hob
Won't need notification, as one it's an appliance, and two it's a replacement.
