maintenance electrician
hi all, im currently an installation electrician (not long been quilfied) couple off years exprience but lookin for a change lookin to get into maintenance but not sure of any courses i might have to do any suggestions please

If you already have a basic knowledge in the electrical trade then i would recommend going for a short electrical maintenance course. technical training solutions provide a 3 week course which will give you a good platform to make that change.

I can't really answer your question but maybe I can help you in another way. Some days ago I registered with http://www.egenie.co.uk. That's a website where customers post their wish (whatever has to be done) and tradesmen have the chance to quote. If you are looking for jobs to pay your training, this might be a good way to do it. For me it worked really, really well. Hopefully I could help you (somehow)..

If you already know what u doing then I would tell you to do short electrical course as bazza said. it will give you a good platform to make that change and there is a lot of potential into this field. good luck
