    Default please help!

hi i am currently trying to tidy loft out and create more space but i have no light or electric up there, there is a plastic junction box up there that leads from fuse box to shower is it possible to run a 13amp or whatever fused spur from it? i will only be having a strip light and maybe run a drill off it at some point. will that be ok? any advice will be much appreciated.

I personally would leave any shower circuit well alone, it should be RCD protected and in a worst case senario you could export a fault to the circuit. If your in the loft there must be cables supplying the bedrooms underneath. Find a live cable (not switched) isolate circuit, fit junction box and fused spur to it limit spur to 5 amps. Not really the proper way to do it but it will be safe and supply what you want. Proper way is to run separate supply from con unit, fuse correctly, de rate fused spur to light and label.
