I'm looking for specific information regarding the code standards for the type of metals/ alloys used in wire to wire connectors and terminal connectors, such as the common crimping and copper types.

The reason being I am a designer and at present working on a new connector device and need to make it from BS standards material.

Can anyone point me to a journal for such metal listings and codes
