Domestic Installer Requirements.
Hallo
I'm planning to start up my own electrical business.I have done my C&G2330 Electrical Installation Levels 2&3 and 17th Edition.
What are the requirements to join the NIC Domestic scheme and what does it cost.I've been on the website but can't find anything regarding the prices and requirements. Is there another website/link explaining the scheme better perhaps?
Can anyone PLEASE give me advice on this topic,it will be much appreciated.
Regards

Re: Domestic Installer Requirements.
Why not give them a ring direct?
It may be easier to talk to someone in person.
One of thier people comes out and asses your work, may be once or twice a year.
You may need to ask about Business insurance and professional indeminity insurance, which are offered at competative rates.

Re: Domestic Installer Requirements.
NICEIC is around £380, this includes one assessment and a years enrolment you have in place all the qualifications necessary you will have to make at least two certificated jobs available for inspection and one will have to be at least a board change if you want full scope ie full membership. Two minor works will only allow you to be registered on limited scope ie minor works only. Regards Jimbo
Never argue with an idiot , they will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience
