Outside Socket

Dear All

Do we need RCD for outside sockets. if yes how practical it is. for example if you get spur for outside socket from ring which more likely from kitchen ring has already not got RCD. Should we wire separate circuit for outside sockets or make the ring which outside spur is taken as RCD protcted circuit.
which one is recommended and will pass the inspection & testing

All sockets for use outside the equipotential zone must be 30ma RCD protected, it does not matter how "practical" it is thats the regs and be careful about spurring off only one spur to a socket and then you have the problem of 2.5 being protected by a 32a breaker better to enlarge or run a separate ring. Do you have a copy of the Regs?
Do you have formal training?
The question you ask is basic kowledge of an electrician.
Are you an electrician?
Do you know that these works fall under part p?
Do you know what part p is?
