I have come across two installations recently where the clients have installed LED GU10 lamps in situations where the lamps are 2 way switched, in each case where the fittings are switched off the lamps glow as if they are picking up a very low induced voltage, I have seen a posting for a similar situation on "flashing low energy lamps".

If a standard GU10 lamp is fitted into one of the positions on the multiple lamp system switched by the two way switching the problem ceases.

Due to both installations having RCD protection earth discharging of the induced voltage this is not possible.

As anyone come across this situation and found a solution, i.e. fitting a resistor across the line / neutral connection of one of the fitting terminal blocks to see if this will act a direct "dump" connection for any induced voltage within the circuit.

Any ideas would be welcome
