Re: Min marks to pass 2382
Hi sparkedout,
I believe the pass mark can change. Only city & guilds knows what the pass mark will be for your particular exam, but you should be aiming for a minimum of 70% and 80% to be safe. (this is what I was told by a 17th ed lecturer)

The exam is split into sections so be careful, you could in theory get 100% in one section and 0% in another and you will fail

Re: Min marks to pass 2382
exam is split into 8 sections, and as a general rule you have to get a minimum of 33% in any one section, and generally 50% overall
be careful because in section (appendicies) there are only three questions, if you get these wrong (or time out and dont answer them) you will get 0% for that section and fail automatically, but with an overall average of say, 95%, yet another chap could get 50% all the way through and pass
