Hi , I am now coming to the end of my 2330 lvl 3 exams, I've only got to do my 2 written exams to do.. could you tell me the difference between a load isolator and a non load isolator ?
thanks

Re: what the differance between
A non load isolator is NOT capable of breaking the supply whilst under full load I.e With the maximum rated load flowing through the supplied circuit.
If you were to break the load with a non load isolator, the resultant flash/ arcing would likely burn out the isolator contacts. The ON LOAD isolator has a snap mechanical action. Very quick to minimise arcing time.
