Quotations and getting it right
Hi Everyone,
I am new to this site so please be patient with me !
I have been to hand in a quote for New Kitchen with Underfloor heating / New Ring Main and practically a new Bathroom all with Underfloor heating and other stuff on top
I understand that some people do quotes per point and some quote per days at a daily rate on top of materials.
Obviously do not want to overcharge or undercut so could do with a bit of guidance am spending lots of time on materials cost.
Help would be appreciated

Re: Quotations and getting it right
I tend to work for about £200 a day and also add about 30% on materials so it keeps the pricing easy. I don't work on day rate but estimate how long the job will take me and price accordingly. E.g If the job is going to take 4 hours I quote £100. If I get it done in 2 hours it still costs £100. Works well for me.
