power shower motor
Hi,
I have just replaced the motor/pump unit in my newteam nt1000 power shower, following the electrical connections from the old unit.
The new unit doesnt seem quite as powerful as the old unit, if i have wired it wrong am i correct in thinking it would run but the wrong way round (and maybe the pump is running in reverse?), could this cause it to be less powerful. Or maybe the motor is just less powerful than the old unit?
Thoughts please
Thanks

Hi.
My thoughts are that the motor is just less powerful than the old one as unless you have a three phase unit you cant connect it up incorrectly and make it turn the other way.
If line and neutral were reversed then the unit would not work at all and more than likely cause the MCB/RCD to trip.
