Help required
Hello,
I'm a qualified electrician from ireland and have been recently offered a job here and was asked by the employer that i would be required too sign off on my work?
now i know i am qualified and registered in ireland and can sign off work there, but i am not sure do i need too register napit or similar and if i need to be JIB registered in order too register with napit...?

I was in a similar situation as this, if your employer is registered to one of the appropriate organisations then you just have to be a competent person to sign off the work, for example with a NICEIC sheet I would do the tests and sign off the work, send it into my employer and then there is another box for the Qualified Supervisor to sign once he has reviewed the results.
So I would say as long as your competent with your testing then you don't really need to do anything.
