Socket Sizes
OK, I'm new here and am not a electrician.
Recently I put a new kitchen in my flat which required moving a few sockets, adding fused spurs etc.
The problem I have now is that I bought a range of back boxes which I have never used before. They are the ones where you get a double socket attached to a single socket back box or two singles joined together.
Now, the problem I have is that I bought some black sockets (screwfix) and they do not fit. Thay are wider than the standard ones I have from Wickes. Is this the case with all decorative sockets or does someone know somewhere I can get some standard size sockets - ideally black but anything is better than white.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Socket Sizes
I have not found any decorative sockets that will fit a dual box yet!

Re: Socket Sizes
Cheers.
Still haven't sorted this, just living with wires hanging out of walls.
Will get it done now.
Thanks again.
