SAFE ISOLATION, practice it and keep using it. Theywant to make sure you are not a danger to yourself and others.

Make sure you understand 3 phase safe isolation, including how to test safe with 4 pole switch, Line 1 line 2 line 3 and neutral.

There are a number of things first and foremost prepare yourself not by staying awake and worrying but by checking certification is correct, test equipment is up to scratch and you are familiar with its use. Ist thing work wise assessor will check is main earth and equipotential bonding, ask you to identify earthing arrangement then talk through a Ze you will then be asked to carry out the test. Remove board cover and PRACTICE SAFE ISOLATION, then its Insulation readings, test and max and min values. On to continuity and crossover and test and verify and explain results next rcd test and verify results finally Zs and show how to verify same. Work must be up to an acceptable standard.There are basically two outcomes to an assessment pass or fail, failure is normally the inability to carry out testing properly and carries the penalty of a charge for a revisit. The assessment can be a bit harrowing but the assessor is concerned that you carry out the tests in a safe manner if you are not confident about undertaking an assessment cancel the appointment with plenty of notice and take a course its no use trying to bluff your way through it these guys see it every day and trust me they have seen it all.
