site portacabin periodic testing frequency
hi
just wondering if i could get some opinions/advice on the frequency of periodic testing of site accommodation - namely temporary moduler cabins.
could these be classed as the same as a static caravan or would they be classed as a permenent building. the supply is classed as aconstruction supply. the cabins are in different contractors compound on a large production plant.
any advice etc is appreciated

Re: site portacabin periodic testing frequency
Look at 704.1.1 (vii)
So going to Chapter 62 in the bigred book & looking at 622.1 you can say..
You as the competent testing electrician will look at the installation & previous test results & make an informed decision on the frequency of when next test/inspection is required.
